Full color 9 1/2" x 13" ad for their Old Fashioned Chili Sauce. The ad has a picture of a plate of meat loaf on a table and a group of little characters are working together and pouring 'just enough' Snider's Old Fashioned Chili Sauce over the slices. There is also a Grandmother character holding up a recipe card for her version of Meat Loaf and a smaller picture advertising their Catsup and their Cocktail Sauce. At the top of the picture is a little dog leaning dejectedly on the picture with the words "Ain't never no Meat Loaf left for me!". This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.

Sniders 3

Full color 10" x 13 1/2" ad that tells that, for Snider's Chili Sauce, "We captured that old fashioned Chili Sauce flavor with a Super Tomato and that secret recipe!". There is a drawing of several workers struggling to lift a large glass cover off of a giant bottle of Snider's Chili Sauce and the text tells the story. "Grandma Snider got her dander up one day. "You know," she said, "what's happened to new-fangled store-bought chili sauce is a caution!" She claims chili sauce should be chunky and spicy - with a tempting richness that's like magic for other food. "None of that watery thinness and namby-pamby flavor." Grandma Snider knows! Her chili sauce has been a favorite herabouts for a l-o-n-g spell." There are more stories to be told in this ad but I will not tell you about them. The ad says that "Besides Snider's Chili Sauce...there's a whole line of delicious Snider's vegetables and fruits in cans and jar and there's Snider's Catsup, the real country style...Snider's Cocktail Sauce, so spicy and tangy...with that Special Snider Flavor if the Snider Folks put it up...it tastes like home".

Snider's 5

Three color 5 1/4" x 14" ad that is for Snider's Vita-Fresh Catsup. This ad has a drawing of a bottle of Snider's Catsup on a tabletop and there are three little people climbing around it. There is a piece of paper near the top and one of the people, a man, has just completed writing a note that says "Think all Catsups taste alike?". There is a lady who is standing there, holding the piece of paper so that it doesn't swerve away from the man writing. The third person, another man, is by the bottom of the bottle pointing out the note that has been written there, under the bottle. This note says "Wait until you taste Grandma Snider's Real Country Flavor!". At the bottom of the ad it says "Try Snider's Old Fashioned Chili Sauce and Cocktail Sauce, too!" before it has they're saying, "If the Snider Folks put it up - it tastes like home".
