Full color 9 3/4" x 13 1/2" ad that prepares you for Valentines Day with Planters Peanuts. The ad has a picture of a father talking to his young child who is dressed for bed and sitting on the stairs. He is bringing a platter with a can of Planters Cocktail Peanuts, a bowl of the ingredients, four glasses and a few other things out and he says to the girl, "Okay...we'll both have a Planters Party". The ad tells us that "Children beg for 'em...guests gobble 'em...parents approve 'em...nobody ever ate just one of 'em! What? Planters Peanuts, of course! Crisp and crunchy from the blue Cocktail Can...or whipped into creamy-smooth Peanut Butter...the flavor is the same - delicious!". In the lower right hand corner they are offering, "For Your Valentine"...a selection of Planters roaster-fresh Almonds, Cashews, Brazils, Filberts...wrapped in pure, double-thick Milk Chocolate". |

At the top of the page is a picture of an opened jar of this product and it looks like a little has been taken from the jar. Standing next to it is Mr. Peanut who is just about to take a bite of the bread covered with the Peanut Butter that he has, probably, taken from the jar. At the bottom of the page is an opened can of Planters Cocktail Peanuts, apparently full. Against a blue background we see a single, large though, Planter's Cocktail Peanut with the caption describing it as "Something no ever ate...Just one Planter's Cocktail Peanut". The text says that "No one we know of ever stopped after eating only one Planter's Cocktail Peanut. After all, how could they!" and goes on to describe the peanuts that are chosen for their products and what is done to make them good enough to be Planter's.
