Full color 9 3/4" x 13 1/2" ad for the boxes of Minute Rice New Pre-Cooked Fancy Long Grain Rice. This ad says that "No rice but pre-cooked Minute Rice can do these startling tricks!". The ad shows three different tricks, or recipes, that Minute Rice is capable of. The first is "Dinner Divine...in 27 minutes". This is a good sounding meal made with Veal Paprika. Then we have "Luncheon Glory...in 13 minutes" that is a delicious sounding treat made with Rice a la Maison. Then we have the "Glamour Surprise...in 17 minutes" which is another treat with Savory Mushroom Rice. The ad claims that these dishes can be made with "No Washing! No Rinsing! No Draining! No Steaming!". |

The ad shows a plate filled to the edge with the result of the recipe that is plastered in the middle of the page. At the end of the recipe it suggests that you try adding your own favorites to create something that your family will ask for. |

Full color 9 1/2" x 13 1/2" ad for "Pre-Cooked Minute Rice" which they claim is the "Perfect Rice Without Cooking". It says that all you have to do is "Just add to boiling water for perfect rice every time". There is an example of a meal with rice along with several other items and the rice is taking up half the plate and it does look good. It says that with this product there is "No washing! No rinsing! No draining! No steaming!" which pretty much takes away all the difficulties with rice. There is, at the bottom of the page, a recipe for a "Swell Summer Meal - Without Sweltering! Minute Rice with Smoked Tongue". I don't know about you but that does not sound good to me. |
