Cling Peaches |
Full color 10" x 13 1/2" ad that tells you to "Look what you can do with cling peaches". The photo is of a spring time yard and, spread out, there are four different beautiful dishes. There is an April Gold Parfait and a Spring Peach Shortcake next to a Sunshine Salad Mold with a Salad Spectacular. There are short descriptions of these dishes in the text and the ad says the Cling Peach Advisory Board had something to do with this. |

Florida Oranges |
Full color 9 1/2" x 13" ad for this amazing fruit. There is a picture of a young boy with a homemade helmet on his head. The helmet has a propeller on top and it looks like a light bulb screwed into one ear hole and the words "Space Ace" are written along the front. He is staring happily at "A full big glass of Florida Orange Juice" which the headline says you should have "For the Vitamin C you need every day!...one vitamin your body can't store up". The ad suggests you get it from Florida Canned, Florida Fresh-Frozen Concentrate or from Florida Fresh. The text says that this young man might not make it to Mars but having Florida Oranges will give him better health. |

There is a picture of a little girl who is drinking from a glass that will definitely not be finished by her. The text has the little girl (or maybe the person who writes the ads) talking about what will happen when she drinks more orange juice. The little girl is claiming that she drinks it because she likes it. The phrase that Sunkist was using at this time was "Best for Juice - and Every use!" |
