Cleveland-Canton Spring Company
Black and white 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" ad for their Chrome-Vanadium Automobile Springs. The ad headline explains that "Comfortable Riding requires spring uniformity" and shows a photo of their shop where a man is standing next to a large stack of finished product which are each being tested for proper capacity. Most of the text talks about this testing process and why these springs are important to people interested in an easy ride.

K-W
Black and white 8 1/4" x 11 3/4" ad for their Road Smoothers. These seem to be intended for the Ford because all references are made about a Ford. The drawing at the top shows an automobile bouncing over a rough road and the caption claims that "The Ford is not Responsible for Rough Roads". The text claims that this product is "Quickly applied to your Ford car" and claims to "Give you Ford car advantages, with heavy car comfort". There is a picture of a male hand holding up one of these units under the information "$15 Set of Four. One for Each Wheel". The text gives you information on what to look for if you consider adding equipment to absorb the lack of paved roads to your automobile. It then describes how K-W handles each of these requirements.

Monroe
Black and white 9 1/2" x 14" ad for their Monroe-Matic Shock Absorbers. The ad has an action-filled photo of the Indianapolis "500" race with a headline that claims there were "Monroe-Matic shock absorbers on Every car!". There is a smaller photo of race winner Roger Ward claiming that to win the race "It takes absolute control over the car you're driving, and Monroe-Matics help provide that control". He also claims to be using them on his family car. The text claims that "Every year since 1952, the winner of the Indianapolic "500" has driven to victory on Monroe-Matic shock absorbers". This ad is larger than my scannre bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
