Commando 750 Roadster
Full color 8" x 10 1/2" ad that brings the reader's attention to "The Norton experience". At the bottom of the ad is a picture of a Commando 750 Roadster with red tank and side panels parked while the ever-present attractive blonde lies on the ground wearing a red dress barely covering her hips as she looks into the camera with her hair nearly cascading to the floor. The text mentions the isolastic super-ride and talks in dreamy phrases about seeing this bike, I think they mean the bike, and falling in love. The ad does give a few performance figures too.

Commando 850
Full color 8" x 11" ad for what the ad calls Superplusbikes. There is a picture of a shiny Black 850 Commando seen from the side with an attractive blonde with a slight smile on her face serving as a backdrop to this whole ad. The ad headline says "Temptation" and the text continues "...comes in many forms". It then cites three examples of how this bike can tempt different people. One is tempted by its "brute strength and finesse", another by the "superlative roadholding and ultra-responsive handling" and to a third the "no-holds-barred appearance and freedom-loving approachto life".
