Full color 10" x 13" ad for their Margarine. This ad introduces a contest that the company was having to send in five words that describe the superior qualities of this product. There were over 200 prizes with the First Grand Prize being a two-week vacation and a new Packard. An unusual aspect of the prizes at this time was that they promised the "Federal Income Tax Paid". The second Grand Prize was a two week vacation in Florida without the Packard. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view. Full color 9 1/2" x 12" ad for the many Durkee Seasonings. The ad has a drawing of Kelly standing over a barbecue that is loaded down with steaks. Next to him is a table full of Durkee products and salads of all types with rolls. The ad contains outdoor cooking recipes for Corn on the Cob, Deviled Eggs and Potato Salad Supreme.
