Full color 9" x 12 1/2" ad that is for Dole Pineapple Juice. This is an interesting ad; it is, from top to bottom, a picture of ways to have "Pineapple on the Terrace". "Summer skies for your ceiling, and pineapple dishes to make a super-supper. There's an idea - for what would go better with outdoor eating than sunny Dole. Try Sliced, Crushed, Chunks or Tidbits, as suggested by Patricia Collier, Dole Home Econimist. And for a drink with a party flavor on the terrace, or just any place - serve Dole Pineapple Juice". In the center of the ad it has the details for all of the pineapple foods. "Seafood Cocktail: new face and taste for a familiar first course! Here's how to do it: arrange layers of crabmeat, shrimp of flaked boiled white fish (avacodo is delicious too) and piquant cocktail sauce until the glasses are three-quarters full. Then, as a final touch (but first-to-be-eaten morsel) top with golden half-rings of Dole as illustrated". The second is "Great off the garden grill! Maybe it's the fresh air - or maybe it's the subtle taste Dole Chunks lend to this impressive dish - but appetites skyrocket! Alternate cubes of lamb or beef and Dole Chunks on skewers...marinate in seasoned oil, and grill over coals, or on the kitchen range broiler". And, the last one is "Pineapple Rolls - piping hot! Use your favorite Parker House recipe, but here's the gourmet note - a spoonful of Dole Crushed tucked into the folds before they go into the oven. You can do the same trick with bakeshop rolls. Just open the folds - put in Dole Crushed Pineapple and heat quickly. And here's a tasty tip: frost the tops of the rolls while warm with powdered sugar icing".
