Corvette - Three color 9 1/2" x 12" ad for AC Spark Plugs. This ad has a photo of a Light colored Corvette being admired by a well-dressed couple and a photo of a Dark colored Experimental Pontiac Parisienne that is being looked at during a Car Show. This ad with these two classic cars is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.

1957
Corvette - Full color 7 1/4" x 10 3/4" ad that shows a white Corvette being unloaded from an ocean freighter. The ad headline has one dockworker saying to another "Fantastico! Even in Turin no one has fuel injection!". This ad has a slight crease in the upper left hand corner which is visible in the scanned view.

1962
Corvair and Corvette - Full color 10" x 13" ad for The Sporty Car in Chevrolet's New World of Worth. The largest picture shows a White Corvair coming right at the camera as it is driven on a winding, hilly road that goes through mountains and woods. This car, it is claimed, is "Built for budget-minded people who go for sports car driving" and there is also a smaller picture of a Black Corvair Monza. The text talks about the many improvements you will notice in this car; cigaret lighter, front door armrests, dual sunshades and an automatic choke, before mentioning more important changes and the different models available. At the bottom of the ad is a picture of a Red Corvette Convertible supposedly being driven on the grass by a fun-loving couple. This text mentions styling changes and the addition of a 327-cubic-inch engine.

Corvette Stingray - Full color 9 1/2" x 12" ad for AC Spark Plugs. The ad has a picture of an AC Spark Plug flying over a Yellow experimental Corvette Stingray that is being driven on a curving mountain road by a thrill-seeking couple. Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe - Full color 9 1/2" x 13" ad has a photo of a Red Corvette taken from the rear with an attractive lady looking back from the driver's window. Corvette Sting Ray Coupe - Full color 7 3/4" x 10 1/2" ad that has a picture of a Red Camaro SS Sport Coupe and a Blue Corvette Sting Ray Coupe parked next to each other on a paved area with a stark mountainside as a background. The headline calls them an "Aerodynamic duo" and claims that they are "two of a kind". The text mentions many of the selling points such as their styling, handling and performance while giving the largest and most powerful engines available for each model. It ends by saying that "Corvette's a tough act to follow. Buckle up a Camaro and see what we've done for an encore".

Three color 7 1/2" x 10 1/2" ad that reminds us that every General Motors car that leaves the factory, especially the Hot ones, is equipped with AC Spark Plugs. The ad has a picture of a Corvette shown from the front with a full sun perched on the horizon behind it and the headline claims that "Corvette gets a kick from AC". The text talks about Corvettes demanding "a clean husky spark" and assures us that "AC delivers that spark". With this information you are urged to "give your car the kick Corvette gets".

Corvette - Full color 7 3/4" x 10 1/2" ad for the King of American Sports Cars. The ad has a picture of a Red Corvette being driven by two smiling ladies on an asphalt road past a row of dark trees. The ad headline warns that "If you've wanted a Vette since you were a kid, you've waited long enough". The ad also has smaller pictures that show the interior from the passenger side through to the driver's side and a view from behind of the T-Top being raised. The ad text talks about the extra features that are standard and mentions the GR70-15 steel belted radials and the new versions of the 350 and 454 V-8s.
