1959
Buick LeSabre - Full color 10" x 13 1/2" ad for the slight bit of extra money buying the quality that Buick represents will cost you. The ad talks about the three Buick's of the moment, the LeSabre, the Invicta and the Electra with the special emphasis being on the LeSabre. There is a picture of a Light Blue Two-Door LeSabre (called "The thriftiest Buick") parked overlooking the lights of a small city while a formally-dressed couple stand by the rear of the car admiring something off to the right. The headline calls attention to "The most important $200 in the automobile world!" and the text explains that this is the difference between the cost of a car from the "leading low-priced three" and the price of the quality of a Buick. The rest of the text talks in general terms about what you will like when you drive and own a Buick. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.

Buick LeSabre - Full color 9 1/2" x 13" ad for the big Wildcat 410 V-8 engine that Buick was using in many of their cars. The ad has two pictures of a Blue Buick LeSabre Two-Door that came equipped with this engine. In the one picture the car is parked and a happy couple is leaning on the passenger side front fender and the other picture shows this car being driven, with no problem, up a steep hill.
